Primary 5 and Primary 6 pupils today had a visit from the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service.
This visit highlighted the importance of fire safety within the home, the importance of having a working smoke alarm and firework safety ahead of the Halloween season.
Each child received a fire safety pack full of information and a huge thank you goes to Karl from Downpatrick Fire Station for visiting us.
This donation will be used to benefit our children through Afterschool provision, School trips and Healthy Breaks.
We are extremely thankful for the continued support from the SVDP group within the Parish of Dunsford & Ardglass, especially in these challenging times.
The children have had a delightful week to browse and buy books at the Travelling Book Fair visited school. The book fair was a fantastic success and caused great excitement throughout the week.
Pictured are some of our children with a selection of new books the school received as part of our commission from the Travelling Book Fair. This will further enhance our existing library resources and provide the children with excellent reading opportunities.
Children wore yellow to school as part of the #HelloYellow campaign and raised a fantastic amount of £100 for this wonderful charity.
