This week as part of Anti-Bullying Week the children have participated in activities and learning around this year’s theme ‘Reach Out’.
Each class has been extremely busy creating posters, discussing stories and working on scenarios around how to deal with incidents of bullying.
To finish off the week, we held a special whole school assembly today informing children of how to reach out and ask for help.

We have recently been in receipt of a very generous donation from our local St Vincent de Paul charity.
We are extremely thankful for the continued support from the SVDP group within the Parish, especially in these challenging times.
Congratulations to Isabelle in Primary 5, a horse-riding enthusiast on her recent accolades.

Reading Partnership has been an integral feature of our literacy support programme in St Mary’s for a number of years.
It was developed at the University of London to improve children’s reading confidence and focuses on helping children to develop a love for reading and become enthusiastic about it.
Yesterday we were delighted to deliver the final Reading Partnership training workshop to some of our parent volunteers who will now begin to work closely with children throughout the school.
