  STEM DAY

  We celebrated STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) in school today - part of our focus in the World Around Us.

  Each class carried out activities. Ask your child about them.

  

• Soccer Aid

  Soccer Aid Day at St Mary's Dunsford.

  As part of our journey to the Rights Respecting School Award, we recognise that every child has a right to and education (Article 28) and the right to relax and play (Article 31).

  Thank you to all the children who took part in Soccer Aid. Pupils came to school wearing a Soccer kit or PE Uniform and completed the obstacle course.

  The money raised will help 'every child in danger'.

   

  

• Speech and Drama Festival

  Congratulations to all the boys and girls who took part in our Speech and Drama Festival this morning. Each child was presented with a certificate and their comments sheet. We presented medals for 1st and 2nd in each class and a cup for each key stage winner.

  We would like to thank Catherine  Rice for taking the time to be our special judge this year. I think we'd all agree that she did a wonderful job !

  Special thanks to George  and Catherine Rice for organising and presenting 'The Maureen Rice 'memorial cup.
