Today we celebrated our Pupil of the Year Awards.

In a very difficult decision our Foundation Stage Award was presented to Rosa, our Key Stage 1 Award was presented to Nicole and our Key Stage 2 Award was presented to Fiadh.

All three girls worked extremely hard throughout the year, applying themselves to each and every task both academic and non-academic, displaying great manners and behaviour at all times and being an excellent friend to their peers.

A fantastic achievement! Congratulations to all three recipients of the awards.

Leavers Assembly 2022

What a wonderful day we had today at our Leavers Assembly, during which the children sang, recited poetry and shared their favourite memories of their time in St Mary's with those present.

It was a lovely morning with great stories and pictures shared through the iMovie and although it was a sad day for many with more than a few tears shed it is important to remember these days as celebrations as well. Celebrations of spending seven wonderful years here in Dunsford and the forging of friendships that will last forever!

It was an emotional yet exciting day for our pupils who bid farewell to St. Mary's to prepare for their future at their new schools. We also are bidding farewell for the last time to some of our families as their youngest children make the step into the next chapter of their lives.

The Primary 7 pupils have been outstanding and a credit to our school. Your presence will be sorely missed around the school but as I said, remember that the door is always open here in St Mary's and we wish you all the very best for the future.

Teddy Bears’ picnic 🐻 and Sponsored Walk 🚶🏻‍♀️🚶🏻‍♂️

Our annual Teddy Bears' Picnic at Bishopscourt Race Circuit today was a huge success.

Although the weather conditions went against us mid-morning the children had a fantastic time, walking great distances around the track in the earlier part of the day.

With the help of parents and family members we managed to raise an amazing £1,100. I would like to thank everyone for their generosity and support for the event, we are truly humbled.

Many thanks to Roy Biggerstaff, Manager of Bishopscourt Race Circuit for the use of the track and for the fantastic hospitality and our wonderful PTA who support us continually and enhance the children's experiences whilst in St Mary's.

Leavers Mass 2022

Today our Primary 7 pupils celebrated their final school service with the whole school community.

The children read, sung and participated in the service so well and were fantastic throughout. They said a special thank you to everyone who supported them in their faith development during their time in St Mary's, including their families, teachers, classroom assistants, Father McCloskey and all the Catechists.
