Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Today we donated a magnificent thirteen hampers to the local St Vincent de Paul Society.
Local representative Mr Gerry Casey collected them and they will go towards helping those in need in our community over the Christmas period.
Many thanks to all our parents and staff for their kind donations.
Many thanks to Ardglass Festival Association who very kindly gave a selection box to each child in the school for Christmas.
The children really appreciate this lovely gesture.
Many thanks to Paul O’Shea for donating a set of footballs and cones to the school on behalf of Ardglass GAC. Paul will be resuming Gaelic coaching with the children in the new year and the new equipment will get plenty of use!
The continued support the school receives from Paul and everyone at Ardglass GAC is very much appreciated.
There was huge excitement in school this afternoon as the draw for our annual Christmas raffle took place.
We managed to raise an absolutely incredible £800 from the draw and we are very graetful for the contiunal support we receive from our whole school community.
Well done to our star pupils this week who were awarded certificates for their excellent attitude towards school, their enthusiasm towards learning and their fantastic behaviour.
Keep up the great work!
Primary 7 have been studying the Great Famine – An Gorta Mór during Term 1.
The class were tasked with creating their own famine cottages as a home learning activity as part of their studies.
The finished cottages were absolutely amazing. Pupils used a variety of materials for the project including moss, stone, cardboard and wood and the level of creativity put into each and every cottage was truly fantastic.
Well done boys and girls.
Congratulations to our star pupils this week.
Well done boys and girls we are very proud of you all!
