We are a progressive and innovative Catholic Primary School and we pride ourselves on providing a caring, happy, stimulating and challenging environment for all which is designed to meet each child's academic, emotional, social and spiritual needs.
We aim to create a wide range of learning opportunities for all our children to help them grow into independent and responsible adults and provide them with lifelong learning skills. We strive to help our children grow in confidence and work purposefully to a realistically high standard, developing and achieving to the best of their individual abilities.
At St. Mary's PS we enjoy a strong partnership between home, school, the church and the local community. We have high expectations of our children, our parents and ourselves. We are proud of our good name, our very high academic standards and the excellent pastoral care that exists within the school.
We believe that our school is very special as a result of the caring, friendly and nurturing atmosphere. During our most recent ETI inspection the findings reported that:

We have a clear vision for the continuous development of the school and we are committed to developing the school as an integral and vibrant centre at the heart of our community.
