🎉 Primary 7 Leavers’ Assembly 🎓

18th Jun 2026

Today we celebrated our Primary 7 Leavers’ Assembly, marking a very special milestone for our pupils as they reach the end of their journey at St Mary’s PS Dunsford.

The children shared some of their favourite memories from their time in school, with a wonderful iMovie capturing many special moments over the past seven years. It was a lovely and emotional occasion, with plenty of smiles—and a few tears—as we reflected on their time with us. While it is a day of goodbyes, it is also a celebration of the friendships, achievements, and experiences that have shaped this fantastic group of young people.

Our Primary 7 pupils have grown into confident, capable and caring individuals, and they have been a credit to their families, our school and our parish community. They have supported one another, worked hard, and created lasting memories along the way.

We also take this opportunity to thank our parents and families for their continued support throughout the years, particularly those who say goodbye to St Mary’s for the final time.

Our sincere thanks go to our dedicated staff, who have guided and supported the children every step of the way and helped make today such a special occasion.

Although our P7 pupils will be greatly missed, we know they leave us well prepared for the next stage of their journey. As part of their celebrations, the children were also treated to a well-deserved final trip to McDonald’s, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

We wish them every success and happiness in the future and remind them that they will always remain part of the St Mary’s family.
