• New Interactive Whiteboard in P1 & P2

  Many thanks to Friends of St Mary's PTA who have been working away tirelessly over the last number of months fundraising to help improve our school. Today they gave a cheque of £2000 to the school for the purchase of a new 75inch Clevertouch interactive whiteboard in Primary 1 & Primary 2.

   

  This will be an invaluable learning resource for all the children and is very much needed. Thank you very much for your continued support

  

• Restart a Heart Day 2019

  All the children were given some level of CPR training on Wednesday as part of Restart a Heart Day 2019 in conjunction with the British Heart Foundation & the Resuscitation Council UK.

   

  Pupils were shown the essential skills that are required to help save a life.

• DELTA success in St Mary's

  Some of our Primary 1 parents recently received certificates having completed our four week DELTA programme.

   

  During DELTA, parents are given an insight into the curriculum at Foundation Stage level and  the development of Literacy, Numeracy, ICT and Play in the early years. Well done everyone.

  Another amazing set of pupils were awarded certificates for Pupil of the Week and Best Effort of the Week in school today. They each completed fantastic work across the curriculum, meeting specific targets and displaying great manners and enthusiasm.
