Congratulations to our star pupils this week who were today presented with certificates to mark their achievements throughout the week.
Keep up the great work!
This week was Road Safety Week in school and to conclude the week we were absolutely delighted to be nominated for the Primary School Award in the Northern Ireland Road Safety Awards 2021 and attend these today in Cultra Manor.
The NI Roads Safety Awards recognise the contribution of individuals and organisations who have worked to improve road safety in their communities. The awards, now in their 7th year, are organised by the Road Safe NI Charity.
The school was nominated for our on-going road safety programmes and campaigns which recently have resulted in the installation of 20mph speed limits as part of the Department for Infrastructure Road Safety Strategy 2020.
In an extremely tough category and to our absolute delight we were announced as overall Primary School winners of this very prestigious accolade and our Eco-Councillors and School Councillors along with Miss O'Neill (Eco-Schools Coordinator) and Mrs Wilson were present to receive our award.
Well done to our whole school on this fantastic achievement!
