Today children in Primary 6 & Primary 7 participated in the Sustrans Active School Travel Programme.
Working closely with the facilitators from Sustrans, the children gained skills and confidence in cycling which will assist them as they ride their bikes on today’s roads for short journeys such as cycling to school.
At the end of the workshop today all the children were presented with their National Standards Level 1 accreditation in cycling.
We are very proud of our Boys’ Gaelic Team who travelled to Downpatrick today to compete in the Down GAA Cumann na mBunscol tournament.
They performed admirably, winning two of their group matches and displaying great determination and teamwork throughout.
Well done everyone!
What a great day the whole school had today as we celebrated World Book Day!
The children came to school dressed as their favourite book character and enjoyed taking part in a range of activities to celebrate the day.
P7 pupils were reading buddies and shared some lovely stories with the pupils in P1 and P2.
Each pupil in the school was also presented with their free World Book Day book to take home and enjoy.
Happy World Book Day everyone ! π€©ππ
