Huge congratulations to Ella in Primary 6 who has now read over 100,000 words in Accelerated Reader since September.
A fantastic achievement which you should be very proud of.
Next target is 500,000! Keep up the great work.
Well done to our star pupils this week who were awarded certificates for their excellent attitude towards school, their enthusiasm towards learning and their fantastic behaviour.
Keep up the great work! ๐
This year, for the first time in a number of years, St Mary’s has entered into the Down GAA Cumann na mBunscol competitions.
Our first involvement took place today in De La Salle High School, Downpatrick where some our Primary 7 and Primary 6 girls participated in the indoor Gaelic preliminaries.
Placed in a tough group alongside St Patrick’s Saul, St Patrick’s Legamaddy, Our Lady & St Patrick, Downpatrick & St Macartan's, Loughinisland our girls performed admirably displaying great skill, teamwork and determination in each of their group games.
As always, they represented our school with pride, displaying the kind of behaviour and friendship that St Mary’s is renowned for and a great day was had by all.
