Teddy Bears' Picnic
Our first ever Teddy Bears' Picnic at Bishopscourt Race Circuit today was a huge success.
The weather conditions were ideal and the children were amazing, walking great distances around the track, with some completing two full laps of the course! At times it was more like an Olympic Sprint than a walk and everyone had a fantastic day out.
With the help of parents and family members we managed to raise an unbelievable £1,000, all of which will be directed towards the construction of our new outdoor classroom. I would like to thank everyone for their generosity and support for the event, we are truly humbled.
Many thanks to Roy Biggerstaff, Manager of Bishopscourt Race Circuit for the use of the track and for the fantastic hospitality and our wonderful PTA who support us continually and enhance the children's experiences whilst in St Mary's.
