Pat Waterson Cup
Well done to our school Gaelic team who participated in the Pat Waterson Cup at St Malachy’s P.S. Kilclief today.
We were drawn in Group A for the tournament with St Joseph's PS Strangford and St Patrick's PS Saul. We drew our first game in a very tight match with St Joseph's Strangford and were narrowly beaten by eventual winners St Patrick's Saul in our other group game.
Scoring difference meant we just missed out on a semi-final place so instead we participated in a 3rd/4th place match against St Joseph's PS Ballycruttle. The boys put on their best performance of the day scoring some great goals and points and displaying fantastic skills to take third place.
Congratulations to St Patrick's PS Saul who were the overall winners and to St Malachy’s P.S. Kilclief, especially Mr McGarrity for his organisation of the tournament.
