Nerve Centre Belfast
Our Primary 5, 6 and 7 pupils recently took part in an exciting and thought‑provoking workshop delivered by Donna and Darren from the Nerve Centre Belfast, in collaboration with Ofcom.
The session introduced pupils to the fast‑growing world of artificial intelligence and helped them understand how to stay safe and informed online. Through interactive activities and real‑world examples, pupils explored the differences between misinformation and disinformation, learned how false information spreads, and discovered practical ways to think critically about what they see on the internet.
Donna and Darren brought incredible energy, expertise and creativity to the workshops, making complex digital topics accessible and engaging for our learners. The pupils were enthusiastic, curious, and full of great questions throughout the sessions.
We extend a heartfelt thank you to both Donna and Darren for supporting our school and helping our pupils build essential digital literacy skills for the future.
