Digital Leaders from our school enjoyed an action‑packed and inspiring trip to W5 Life, where they put their engineering, problem‑solving and coding skills to the test.
🏗️ Physical Engineering: Tower‑Building Challenge
Our pupils took part in hands‑on engineering challenges, working in teams to design and build the tallest free‑standing tower they could.

The boys’ team claimed the top spot with an impressive 86cm tower.

The girls showed fantastic teamwork and determination, finishing close behind with towers measuring 59cm and 62cm.
Their focus, creativity and resilience were clear throughout the challenge.

After engineering came digital innovation. Pupils stepped into the role of software engineers using Minecraft Education to explore coding, logic and computational thinking. They experimented with:
