Many thanks to Peter Surginor, parent of Carter in Primary 3 from Preaching House Pottery for delivering a wonderful Chinese New Year Art workshop to the children in Primary 5, 6 & 7 today.
The children had the opportunity to make and decorate their own Chinese lanterns as well as learn about the origins of the Chinese New Year and the mythology surrounding the Chinese dragon.
Preaching House Pottery will be holding a Chinese New Year celebration at Ardglass Marina this Thursday 8th February from 6.30pm where the children’s artwork will be on display.
