St Brigid of Kildare, one of Ireland’s most beloved patron saints, is honoured for her deep compassion, her care for the poor, and her special connection with nature.
To mark her feast day on Sunday, the pupils in Mrs Devlin's class continued the wonderful tradition of weaving St Brigid’s crosses, using fresh green rushes and straw.
