It was fantastic to welcome Adrian Devlin from MindWise into school yesterday to deliver the first of six engaging workshops as part of the Beyond Bricks Programme with our P3, P4 and P7 classes.
Through the Beyond Bricks programme, children use the medium of Lego building, play and guided thinking to explore how the brain works, how emotions show themselves, and how positive strategies can help them manage these emotions effectively.
Each week, pupils will follow the Beyond Bricks approach to learning, supporting them to develop a better understanding of themselves while gradually building their own toolkit of skills for the future.
