As part of NSPCC Number Day celebrations children from Primary 4 to Primary 7 took part in ‘NSPCC Rocks’ in which they competed against other children throughout the UK in answering as many multiplication and division questions correctly as they could within a set playing period.
We are incredibly excited to announce that St Mary's came 1st place in Co. Down - a competition open to both Primary and Secondary Schools.
Our top class – Primary 7 was the highest scoring class in Co. Down, our Primary 6 class came 2nd, Primary 5 came 8th and Primary 4 came 10th in Co. Down.
Individually we had the top scoring pupils in Co. Down with James McGreevy, Eoin Surginor, Madden McEvoy, Eabha O’Connor, Max Johnston, Nicole Karbauske and Rossa Curran taking the top spots with a further ten children in the top fifty in Co. Down.
I am sure you can appreciate that these stats are truly amazing, and something the whole St Mary's PS Dunsford community is incredibly proud of!
