Congratulations to our Primary 6 children, who tonight during the Parish Mission completed their Service of Light and Commitment as part of their preparations for the Sacrament of Confirmation which they will receive in Primary 7.
During the service parents handed their child a candle lit from the Paschal Candle, showing that they will help and support them to try to live out the call of their Confirmation.
The Service of Light and Commitment is the first step on the road to the Sacrament of Confirmation and Primary 6 showed in their prayerful participation that they ready for the next stage in their faith development.
