Congratulations to all the Primary 7 children who celebrated their Confirmation this morning in St Nicholas' Church. It was a truly beautiful ceremony, and the children were exceptional from beginning to end.
Their dedication and preparation were evident in their thoughtful responses, confident readings, reverence throughout the service, and impressive understanding of the Sacrament.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who helped make today so special. A heartfelt thank‑you to Bishop Alan McGuckian, Fr McCloskey and Fr McKay for leading such a meaningful ceremony, to Mrs Devlin for preparing the children so thoroughly, to Mrs McGrath for her fantastic work in preparing the children for the Confirmation songs, and to Mrs McLaughlin for creating such lovely displays and presenting the children’s work so beautifully.
We are also deeply grateful to our families and sponsors for the support they have given the children throughout their journey, to the Catechists in the Come Follow Me Team who have guided them over many years, and to all the members of staff who assisted behind the scenes in countless ways.
We hope you all enjoyed this morning’s celebration and that you continue to have a wonderful day marking this special occasion with family and friends.
