Our Foundation stage children had a fantastic visit today from the Police Service of Northern Ireland as part of their “People Who Help Us” topic! 🚓👮♂️👮♀️
Members of the Community Policing Team from Downpatrick told the children all about the equipment they carry in their vests and belts and the children even had a go at trying out the handcuffs!
The excitement didn’t stop there—outside we explored the police car, listened to the sirens and horn, watched the flashing lights, and even sat inside the car! 🚓🚨
A big thank you to the Community Policing Team from Downpatrick for coming along and helping our children learn about the important job the police do to keep our community safe. What a fantastic day!
