Last Friday evening, our P6 and P7 Gaelic team proudly represented our school in the All-County Finals of the FunFit Gaelic Football Tournament at St John’s GAC. Although they were defeated in a fantastic final by an excellent St Bronagh’s PS Rostrevor team, our players never gave up and battled bravely right to the final whistle.
The team can hold their heads high after a wonderful tournament and should be extremely proud of everything they achieved. Their teamwork, determination and skill throughout the competition were exceptional and they represented our school with great pride and sportsmanship.
We would also like to extend a huge thank you to the many members of the Dunsford community who travelled to St John’s to support the team. Your encouragement from the sidelines meant so much to the children and helped create a very special atmosphere on the evening.
Finally, many thanks to Marty and the entire FunFit Sports team for organising such a fantastic event and for providing our children with such a memorable experience. We are incredibly proud of every one of them!
