A fantastic morning of Gaelic football saw our Primary 6 and 7 boys and girls travel to Bryansford GAC for the Cumann na mBunscol An Dún 7-a-side Schools Tournament.
The team competed against St Mary’s Dechomet, St Michael’s Finnis, St Paul’s Cabra, and Holy Cross Attical. Through determined effort, strong tackling, slick passing, and well-worked scores, the boys and girls secured victory in three of their four group matches.
With a three-way tie at the top of the group, the team progressed to a round robin stage to decide which two teams would advance to the All-County Semi-Finals. Unfortunately, in a dramatic finish, they were narrowly defeated by a single point with the last kick of the game, meaning Cabra and Dechomet moved on to the next stage.
It was an incredible morning of football, with every player giving their all and producing performances they should be incredibly proud of.
