As part of our Catholic Schools’ Week celebrations, our school community gathered in St Mary’s Church this morning for a special Grandparents’ Day Mass. Grandparents hold a truly special place in our lives, and it was a joy to welcome so many of them to celebrate with us.
We also held in our prayers those who were unable to be present, along with our loved ones who have gone before us to Heaven.
Our pupils played an integral role throughout the Mass, leading the readings, Prayers of the Faithful, offertory procession, and choir. They participated with great reverence and enthusiasm, and their beautiful singing and prayerful involvement made the celebration especially meaningful. We are immensely proud of each and every one of them.
Today’s Mass was a truly special highlight of our Catholic Schools’ Week, beautifully bringing this year’s theme, “Normal Lives: Called to Holiness,” to life.
